Hi, do i need the specific rohloff tool to install this sprocket?
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
As the sprockets just thread on, they can be tightened by hand and can be tightened fully by applying pressure to the pedals when the chain is on so no tool is needed for fitting. You will however require a tool for removal, there is a Rohloff tool needed to hold the driver in place whilst you use a chain whip to un-screw the sprocket. The Rohloff tool is SJSC part 10359.
Thanks.

is the sprocket reversible like other rohloff sprocket?
would it be ok to run this sprocket with a 38t 130bcd thorn chainring?
would it be ok to run this sprocket with a 38t 130bcd thorn chainring?
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
Yes this sprocket is reversible like standard Rohloff sprockets. On a standard Solo bike then yes it would be okay to use with that Chainring.
Thanks.
