Do you have the 17t sprocket in stock?
By Ian Hallett

I currently run a 17t sprocket with a 38t chainwheel (which I am also replacing) on a solo Nomad Mk2. If the 17t is not available, I should be able to go with 19t as I am heading to the Pamirs!

Hi
The screw on sprockets have now been discontinued by Rohloff & have been replaced by a splined version & this 19T option is all we have left. To change your Rohloff to accept the splined sprockets you will need the carrier, our item #43202 & the new splined sprocket which is item #41411 where you will find the various tooth options listed.
Kind Regards

Hi, do i need the specific rohloff tool to install this sprocket?
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
As the sprockets just thread on, they can be tightened by hand and can be tightened fully by applying pressure to the pedals when the chain is on so no tool is needed for fitting. You will however require a tool for removal, there is a Rohloff tool needed to hold the driver in place whilst you use a chain whip to un-screw the sprocket. The Rohloff tool is SJSC part 10359.
Thanks.

Aus Titan 19T Ritzel

Hallo,
Siegfried Piontkowski

SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
I'm afraid this is the only version of the 19T sprocket that we produce, the titanium sprockets shown on Rohloff's website are produced by another company.
Thanks.

would it be ok to run this sprocket with a 38t 130bcd thorn chainring?
would it be ok to run this sprocket with a 38t 130bcd thorn chainring?
SJS Customer Service:
Hi,
Yes this sprocket is reversible like standard Rohloff sprockets. On a standard Solo bike then yes it would be okay to use with that Chainring.
Thanks.
