I recommend this product
I bought a bike which was just a little to short, this matched the original with 30mm extra, making my bike so much more comfortable.
Nice solid design, easy to fit, delivered quickly. What more could I ask?

How is the stem angle adjusted?
By

I've downloaded the assembly instructions from Ergotec but I cannot undo the angle adjust bolt. Not mentioned or labelled in the instructions is the Elastic assist release' on the other side. What does it do?
Hi Charles,
The adjustment assembly can be quite tight on these stems.
When you undo the retaining bolt the two side plates are released, there is a spring that pushes them both out from the body.
They need to come out far enough to release the locking teeth.
The stem can then be moved to the required angle and the assembly re-tightened.

I have just tried this procedure on a 90mm stem.
The locking bolt was done up very tightly and the two side plates took a bit of fiddling to get them to release.
I took the assembly apart, worked the stem up and down a few times and re-assembled to make it work.

If you believe your stem is faulty please contact our customer service team for a resolution.
Thanks
