Pros2 piece allows it to be nice and solid does need to be prised open to go around handlebar bends.

Easy to install if you have a stem with a two or four bold front plate handlebar clamp. the two piece shim needs a little patience to align nicely but seems to do the job. Haven't ridden the bike yet as installed this p.m.

Sorry for asking nearly the same question as someone else, but is the 50mm length mentioned on the handlebar side or the stem side? There's a chamfer involved so just need clarification.
I have a REDSHIFT flex stem and it requires 50.8mm of shim.

The Full length is 50mm and the Length of the mid section without the chamfer is 40mm.
