For use with 1 1/8 Inch ahead steerers to raise the level of the ahead stem.
Raises stem by up to 80mm.

This product is rated to Humpert’s safety level of 4. This means it is suitable for use on hybrid/trekking bikes that have a combined rider and luggage weight of below 140kg as well as electric bikes (restricted to 25km/h) that have a combined rider and luggage weight of below 120kg.

ProsEasy to fit, well made and finished, gives a lot of extra stem length

I thought I would add one of these to my bike for making a long backroads tour around the Scottish Borders a little bit more comfortable - it is easy to fit, very well finished, and the extra stem height allowed me to get my handlebar position just right! ??

Consthe bolt should be longer

Prosstrong, easy to mount

I started to use it a few weeks ago.
After a hundred miles there is no signes of any problem.
It is very stable and strong.
I use it on a tracking bike.

Conscould do with slightly longer bolt as it only just reached my star nut

ProsStrong, easy to fit, no flex

I fitted this stem to a single speed bike that requires a lot of leverage on the handlebars to get up hills. So i was pleasantly surprised when I fitted it that there was no increase in flex at all compared to the standard stem height. So far so good - more expensive that cheap copies on Ebay but generally Humpert products are reasonably priced and good quality

A well made product that is reasonably priced and allows adjustment of the handlebars to a more comfortable hight.

Does this product require a replacement extended centre threaded allen bolt to allow for the extra steerer height/length?

I've just had a bike made for me that's a joy to ride, except for the fact that the steerer has been cut too short. It's a carbon steerer, so I'm concerned only to use products that are compatible with carbon. If this one isn't, do you stock anything that is?

Unfortunately it does not look as though we have anything like this that looks as though they are compatible with a carbon frame, and because we havent tried this we cannot say whether it would work or not.
