1 1/8 in to 1 in crown race

I used to have 1 1/8 hope headset which I was fitted with 1 1/8 in in a '94 Dynatec Diabilo frame. I want to refit the original 1 in threaded forks usin the Hope head set. It seems that I can get a quill to convert at the top, but I can't work out how to fit 1 1/8 Hope Crown race to the old 1 in fork. Will this shim make that possible/practical?

What Is The Length Of The Shim, Can I Use 2 In Line As I Like A "High" Frida Get Position?
