ProsVery sturdy

Just bought a second one to replace the first which I've judged to be nearing the end of its service life of around 50K km of brutal fixed wheel use, although no signs of fatigue evident...have had so-claimed 'high quality' stems fracture well under this distance. A highly recommended and dependable product, which I'm sure on a conventional bike would go on forever.

hi, can this stem be use upside down on a road bike, will it ok for sprinting etc

SJS Customer Service:

There is nothing stopping this being fitting downward on a road bike, it is not really designed for out of the saddle sprinting etc. and we have never tested it like that, so would not recommended it.

How Long Is The Effective Length From Middle Of The Top Cap To Middle Of Clamp Please?

Says 165mm but the 35 degree angle makes that less.
