ConsLow slung tandem so you have to remove them if riding the tandem solo.
ProsCheap and easy to use
Very useful for my partner stoker on our tandem to help her keep her feet in place when out cycling. Daughter used them all the way to Scotland. Simple and easy to use.

and what is meant by using fabric straps as I just want open clips. It'f for an e bike, Raleigh Modus. Thank you

The clips attach to the pedal using two bolts, compatibility will depend on the type of pedals you have fitted. The large clips will happily take a size 10 shoe, the nylon straps are an option for additional security for the foot. SK 13/12/22
