Genuine Shimano TL-LR11 cassette removal tool made from tempered steel.

Features:
- Use: installation and removal of closure rings for SM-RT10 and TL-FC36, can also be used for SM-RT10
- Notice: cannot be used with multiple free rings due to the different dimensions
- Centre lock
- To be used with 1/2" square (female) wrench
- For use with 24mm wrench

center lock disk

I have got a 12 mm trough axel on the rear wheel and the distance in between the disc center lock and the end of the axel is a bit too much for a standard tool.
would this one be deep enough to engage with the ring?
I hope it makes sense

Hi, we cannot confirm this for 100%, however, i think the SJS part 27348 maybe be a better option.

Will this remove a 9 speed XT Hyperglide cassette?

Hello, No this wont as primarly designed for removing lockrings on disk brakes- for cassette removal my personal preference is SJS part: 871.
This used in conduction with a wrench and chainwhip should get the casette off.
