I have a Trek Superfly 8, 2015 harddtail. I need to fit an Ibex. How?

I have a new Robert axle project axle with one side specific for fitting a bob nut. It sides on the bit sticking out and it sucures on with a nut. The new wheel axle is long enough to fit the bit that the nutz axle on the other side slides over. BUT, I need to figure out how to fit the nutz on the other side. The diameter of the bob nutz is too small for it to screw on. I guess I need a slidy axle bit for the nutz to fit over the hub axle but where do I get it? The Robert Axle project sent only one plain flat ring of metal for the drive side...? I'm so confused. Please help.
Unfortunately we have very little experience of fitting these although we sell quite a few; we would recommend speaking to RAP.

What Size do I need for a BMC Roadmachine RM02 105 2017 touring
By
07 Aug 2017
Hi, these Nutz are for wheels with solid axles, like hub gears or inexpensive Shimano hubs. I believe from some internet research your bike has Novatec 30SL wheels. It is very likely that you need 'BOB YAK Standard Quick Release skewer - Suit 126.5 mm - 140 mm OLN' our part 1072. This is a direct replacement for the skewer in your wheel. Thanks.

Hi - I Have A Mango Fixie & Need To Attach My Bob Trailer. I Just Received The 3/8-26 Nuts But They Are Too Small. What Size Do I Need? The Wheel Is Here Https://Www.Mangobikes.Com/Shop/Parts/Wheels/Mango-Bikes-Single-Speed-Wheel-Rear-Flip-Flop/
Hello.

I would advise that you that the size you need would be 10 x 1 as this is the only size larger that we have, although as we do not have the hub in our stocks we can not know for sure.

Thanks.

By

How Can The Bell Crank Be Attached To The Nutz?
By
11 Mar 2017
Https://Www.Sjscycles.Co.Uk/Hub-Spares/Shimano-Nexus-Bell-Crank-3-Unit/
Hi,

Unfortunately these nuts cannot be used with the Bell Crank found on a Nexus 3spd hub so therefore can't be used at all with the 3spd Nexus hub. It is however fine for use with the more modern 7 and 8spd Nexus hubs.

Thanks.

Hi,

The Dual drive hubs use an unusual thread that is unfortunately not compatible with any of these Bob axle nuts so you will not be able to fit any I'm afraid.

Thanks.

What Size Will I Need
By
29 May 2015
hello, I've got a genesis day one single speed bike and am wondering which of the nuts I would require? 10x1?
Thanks
Hi,

From the specification on Genesis' website your bike has a Shimano rear hub with a solid axle, this means you are correct, you will need the 10x1 option.

Thanks.
A Bob Trailer With No Fitting Attachment On My Bike
By
10 Dec 2014
To fit my bob trailer to my bike(s) what do I need.

Do I need a Solid Axle Nutz or the BOB Spare Quick Release Mounting to attach my bob trailer to my bike

Bike A is a Giant NRS mtn bike inside rear drop 14.5cm, outside rear drop 15.2cm.
Bike B is bike coop revolution tourer 13.2 inside rear drop, outside rear drop 13.5cm
Hi,

Which fitting you need all depends on what sort of wheel you have in your bikes, if your rear wheel uses a solid axle with nuts to do up then you require the Bob Yak solid axle nuts, if your wheel uses a QR hub and skewer then you need on of the Bob Yak replacement skewers. What length you require is dictated by the OLN spacing of you hub, or the distance between the rear dropouts.

Thanks.
Will Any Of The Solid Axle Nuts Suit A Rohloff Hub?
By
22 Nov 2014
Hi,

Rohloff hubs with a nutted axle use a standard 10mm axle so the 10 x 1 option will be compatible with your hub.

Thanks.
Wheel Nuts
By
03 Jun 2014
Hi would a skiiddii trailer fit on these nuts if not do you sell anything that will but I don't want quick release thank
Hi,

The fittings are not that similar to the ones used for the skiiddii trailers, so I don't believe they will work I'm afraid. The only compatible mounting axles we have are quick release ones.

Thanks.
