In 1997, shimano introduced hubs for tandems with 145mm spacing. The BOB 145mm QR is designed to work with these hubs.

SJS are the only company I could find who would post to Spain and at a reasonable postage cost and they carry an amazing amount of stock.
The skewers are extremely well made and do the job perfectly.

Prossolid, effective
Hard to come by in the UK, its great that SJS stock so much useful touring kit. We needed the BoB tandem QR for a trip to the western isles this spring as our tandem has a wider than normal rear axle

I already have one that fits (standard) but want to be sure I'm fitting the right kit (don't want it breaking on tour!)
