I'm looking to get a confirmation on the length of the narrow part of studs. I'm trying to find a replacement for an off brand product and from the answers you gave another person all the diametres are correct.

I'm wondering if this could work on a tandem 145mm OLN back end? I've seen the specs and the Q&A re dimensions which suggest that it will depend on the length of receiving thread in the non lever end. If you have any further details, that will be much appreciated - thanks in advance.

Skewer strength

Hi we have several trailers for a school d of e group. The current skewers are very poor quality - they bend and the QR levers don’t lock properly so come undone.
Is there much difference between these M wave ones and the Bob ones qualtywise? We want something reliable, but cash is tight for the school.

so the end fittings are 44mm total - is the spindle that goes inside the axle169mm in addition to this? I need 6mm over my standard mtb spindle lent to fit a rear trailer.

Hi

This skewer is designed for use with a trailer on the rear of a bike with an OLN measurement of either 130mm or 135mm, the skewer length is 169mm.

Compatable with other single wheel trailers?

I would be most grateful if you are able to answer my query. I am looking to purchase a 2nd hand vidaxl single wheel trailer that is missing the all essential extended skewer! Would the m~wave skewer be compatable?

Unfortunately as we don't stock those trailers we don't have any way of knowing what type of fittings they use. If the fittings are the same as this M-Wave skewer then it should be fine to use with that trailer.

Replacement axle delivery?

Hi, I have one of these trailers. The axle that I have had a quick release failure and is significantly bent. I have jury-rigged it to get home. I am currently in Foix heading for Amsterdam and in UK from 1/8 onwards. Can you think of any way I can order this and get it delivered to somewhere for collection so I can replace the one I have? I have no fixed address in France,Belgium or Holland. I do have an address of a hotel where I will be staying in London on 1/8. Suggestions welcomed as to how I can order this replacement. When you place an order through the website you can select a different delivery address, so if you know the address of the hotel you can have it delivered there. You would need to check with them that they would be happy to receive it for you first though.

Will this quick release be compatible with the Revolution Cargo Trailer and a 8 speed road bike with 700c wheel?

Unfortunately as we don't stock your make of trailer we have no way of knowing what fittings it requires, if the previous skewer looks identical to this one then it should work as a lot of trailers do use the same fitting design. This skewer will be fine for use with an 8spd hub on a road bike with 700c wheels.

Particularly the dimensions of the fixings on each end i.e. diameter. It's a product I'm very interested in buying.

Hi,

The fittings on each end are 44mm in total length, with the main body being 19mm in diameter, the narrow part is 9mm in diameter and the ball on the end is 12mm in diameter.
