If you have the Naild thru-axle with quick release, this part allows you to swap them out for a standard 12mm axle.

The outer thread of these nuts is locked in place in your 'dropouts' using the original gold nut from your Naild axle, and then the original naild dustcap screws over the gold nut.

Once this is done, the 12mm thru axle just screws into the inner thread of the nut as normal.

Why use? If your Naild system has failed or is loose/insecure (a common problem apparently), this is a cost effective way to convert to something more standard.
