Details
The flat-less tyre for wheelchairs.
The Marathon has become the absolute benchmark for puncture-resistant pneumatic tires on wheelchairs. The SmartGuard protection belt is made from a proportion of recycled natural rubber. The "anti-aging" sidewall construction can withstand typical overloading caused by low inflation pressure for much longer.
Note: Use a pressure gauge to adjust tyre pressures as the common 'thumb check' is insufficient due to the special construction of the Marathon Plus.

Questions & Answers (1)
I am looking to purchase new tyres for my wheelchair
By Jo Bruce

I'm interested in the Schwalbe Marathon Plus 24" 1 3/8" but I'm unclear as to whether I need to buy inner tubes as well and if so which ones are best.
I note the load is 75kg, 8s that per pair or per tyre? So, would the load for me and my chair actually be 150kg?
Finally, do you have any advice about how to get these awful solid plastic 'tyres' off my wheels?

You will need tubes - SJS Cycles part number : 3864
The load listed is per tyre, so yes 150kg.
We do not have any personal experience of removing them, sorry!
