Details
For a safer journey. You have full control on icy roads with the Marathon Winter. Even in tight bends and under violent braking everything remains under control. The spikes work best on ice when running at minimum pressure, while at maximum pressure the tires can be ridden on ice-free roads with minimal road noise.

I wont ride in winter without them

I recommend this product
ConsThey are sharp so be carefull touching spining tyres
ProsThey make riding in icy conditions possible.
I have used Schwalbe Marathon Winter Plus tyres on my winter bike and cargo bike during the past two winter seasons. and have had no punctures. When I first tried them I deliberately went out to find patches of ice and they are amazing. I will not ride in icy conditions without them.
I recently bought a Brompton G-line and got a puncture in the first 30 miles so I fitted Schwalbe Marathon Winter tyres and have had lots of fun riding in the recent wintery weather with no punctures and no accidents.
They are easy to fit so long as you know how to fit tyres and use the well of the rim. The studs are easily replaced if you manage to skid one out in dry conditions.
