The Pasela PT is the ideal touring and commuting tyre.

An all-condition tread pattern along with sizes for both road and MTB wheels makes this one of the most versatile tyres on the market.

Featuring tough PT Puncture Technology that is four time stronger than Kevlar, you need not worry about being slowed down by a flat. Combining this with 400D Lite Extra Cord makes this an incredibly resilient but surprisingly light tyre.

ProTite Belt
- A Ultra-strong reinforcing additive that delivers high strength puncture resistance is applied to the tread section. Enhances the structural strength of the casing to increase puncture resistance.

400D Lite Extra Cord
- 400D Cord technology increases side cut resistance of our tyres while improving the rigidity during cornering. This casing reinforcement helps protect the tube from punctures without adding weight to the tyre.

I have bought one of these as a backup to my standard Panaracer Paselas, which lasted well, and were recently replaced. Those will probably go on for ages/miles, but I like to have a spare just in case. At least the folding tyre is compact.

I recommend this product

I've had these tyres for 18 months and they have been on dirt and gravel tracks through Italy and Australia and a recent trip through northern France. I love the grip and they squeal when pushed fast down hill which adds to the "Loon" factor. You can even run them tubeless, which I've done right from the beginning, so touch wood, I've had no flats. Just keep to 45 psi max. and all will be fine otherwise you blow the tyre off the rim and cover yourself in latex. They are an easy fit and roll on with just your fingers, so changing them is easy peasy if you do run them conventionally with tubes.
Nice lush rubbery Japanese product. (no pun intended).

The Panaracer Pasela is an excellent tyre and has made me fall in love with my bicycle again.
It's supple sidewalls makes the bike so much more comfortable and the tread grips well in wet conditions, even on unsurfaced cycle trails.

Will these fit and work on the Raven Sports tour or is there not enough clearance?
