I have a folding bike that I use to ride locally and often take shortcuts across roughly surfaced cycle tracks and bridleways. I bought these tyres to offer a little more stability when off-tarmac. I've been surprised by how good they are. They were replacements for Marathons and the extra width has made a big difference in stability and control. But I can't detect any extra drag or the need to make any extra effort even on a journey of 10 miles. No punctures so far! However, they are useless in mud as I found when riding on a bridleway across a field. Very easy to fit – they just rolled onto the rim!
