Can I use a 25mm tire with this wheel?

Is this a good wheel for use in Randonneuring? I have completed PBP, but will be doing LEL and other LRMs.

Suitable rear wheel

Hi,

Can you recommend a suitable rear wheel to go with this? I've had a scan on the website and notice most seem to be wider than the 100mm of this wheel.

The "matching" rear would be - SJS Cycles part number : 44594 - this will be dependant on the frame, drive chain and braking.

I like this wheel as I have 23mm tyres but how does the wheel fair for a heavier rider?

Hi,

Assuming you're only going to be using this for light road use then it will be fine for a heavier rider, as road wheels go this will be one of the stronger options out there. If you do any touring (so carrying any additional luggage) then a slightly heavier duty wheel would be advised, but most of these would require you to run wider tyres.
