Hi. Are these standard brompton wheels now double wall? When did they switch from single wall? I ask because I have an older brompton and want to upgrade to double wall. Thank you.

Thank you for your enquiry. All Brompton wheels are now double walled which was implemented around 2017 when a range of changes were carried out on the bike. I hope this helps.

Axle length question

Is it possible to replace the axle with a longer one? I want to use this wheel in a fork with 88mm dropouts. I think I can use spacers to increase the OLD if I can get a longer axle.

There are no replacement axles, in theory yes you could fit a wider one and space it out.
