Looks pretty good and wheel was true. Used this for some old Raleigh forks with the keyhole dropouts, which will only take an 8mm axle.

This rim is definitely a polished style, but it is still quite a dull finish compared to over high polished rims.

What Is The Width Of The Rim, I.E What Tyre Width

The rims has an internal measurement of 17mm and external measurement of 22mm. We would recommend you use tyres between 25mm and 47mm.

Is It Suitable For A Light Use Tandem?

Hi,

We don't have any information on the weight limit of this wheel, so unfortunately I can't say whether or not it would be suitable for a tandem. All of the other 700c wheels we have a light weight road wheels so definitely would not be compatible for it. So the only option other than this wheel we can offer would be for a custom wheel which although we could make it a tandem specific strength would add considerably to the cost.
