Consnot a precison tool

Prossimple to use, compact storage

Easy to use simple tool it might not be good enough to build a precison wheel, but mine has paid for itself in the first week by avoiding paying someone else to straighten the wheels on both my bikes

ConsBit flimsy, basic lateral adjustment

ProsSimple, highly adjustable, value for money

Lovely little stand which functions alright straight from the box. With a little tweaking, you can get a much better product by inerting some threaded bolts through where the laterals normally are. I am very happy with it though and it very good value for money

Consvery light weight, not easy to bolt down.

Proseasy to use, easy set-up

Easy set up, no hassle stand. Arms work together making dishing easy. Gauge on center arm (below wheel) is a real plus. Can tip over if not careful.

Does it require an adaptor for thru axles?

Hi,
I have three bicycles with vastly different sizes of hubs and tire widths that look like they'll work with this stand. What I'm not sure about is whether I need any kind of adaptor for the truing stand to work with the 12mm thru axles on my gravel race bike or the 15mm quick release skewers on my mountain bike.
